My friends and I like total war rome 2 this game so much so i want to try drawing models for some new soldiers/ships/buildings etc, for some mods and for the community. I can say that I am quite good at drawing stuffs. I draw and design animes, logos, etc for a living. Overall, I must say, I actually found CiG quite enjoyable, not as deep as Europa Universalis 4, which I've been playing more, but still much improved! However, my recent 2-day escapade into finishing Caesar in Gaul as Rome and now upcoming Hannibal as Carthage should indicate how the gameplay is, what's improved, what's still lacking, etc. Gosh, I put off finishing both of those projects for so long.

I really want a menacing Bactrian Camel model to work on, to incorporate into both Rome 2 my Nomadic Tribes mod and for Crimean Khanate for ETW. How well or not would this work to incorporate new Actor models, like Fighting Women/Amazons and animals. For clothing and armor (I hate vertex work on anything, even helmets where only some neck issues need to be looked at). I might try to decimate it into lower pixel count as a new weapon.Ģ) I figure this process works for simple, static/stationary objects, like hats, helmets, and the like. Lately, working on a high-detail Doomhammer from Warcraft universe for Skyrim mod. But I like using 3ds Max more, even though it's so complicated. Process the finished CS2 file into BoB to FINALLY create RIGID_MODEL_V2ġ) WHERE to modify the object? In MilkShape or ONLY in 3Ds Max?īasically, use UU3D ONLY as translator of files, not the MODIFYING environment, or DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT. Modify in 3ds Max and export AS CS2, using CA's exporter.Ĥ. Import this UU3D saved FBX/DAE object into 3ds Max. Use Ultimate Unwrap 3D and its ETW plugin (has it been updated since last time I checked?)ģ. Just a recap here's the Total War Rome 2 WORK FLOW ġ.
